Singin' in the rain!

I feel like a broken record at this point.  I hope that my readers are not sick of hearing it.  There really IS something about prayer.  It looked cloudy all morning, though these days, that doesn't mean much.  I remember actually trying to think of a way to change the lyrics to the "rain, rain, go away" song.  I silently lifted my eyes to the heavens and asked that God would send some rain for my Shelby to play in.  She's our first child so Ron and I are always trying to remember not to be too strict.  The fact that she's 4 and has never played in the rain (well...HAD never played in the rain) has actually been the topic of several discussions in recent months.   We've both been waiting patiently for the day when the sky would open up and we could set her free with total abandon to enjoy this magic that God created for her.  Today was the day!  Almost the end of October and we got a full-blown summer-esque downpour.  Needless to say, it wasn't long before her tiny shriek of joy was heard echoing through the rain drops.  She was already in her suit and everything - playing in her pool.  God decided to go ahead and ice that cake for me.  He does that a lot.  :)
Today, this is life as I know it. -A
